So Maxine just wants to play with, "hold it", & stroke the new baby all the time :)
Michael on the other hand has bursts of interest followed by being happy she's around & tells me how much he loves her but not too bothered or interested otherwise :)
Last night Annabelle was sleeping & so we had the kids come to her to say goodnight so they could be with her before bedtime. Maxine pleaded: "hold it, hold it!!" while Michael was working hard at gently prying open her tiny closed hand (while I was standing by & watching tentatively). With limited success in opening her hand completely, he gave her a 'high 5' then ran off. I guess that was the boy version of goodnight :)
