Michael was being changed the other day, laying on his change table & spontaneously counted all by himself from 1 through 6! We have not consciously been teaching him, this kid is a sponge J we do counting songs (1, 2 buckle my shoe…etc.) & 'how many fingers do you have…& then count aloud for him' & all this is very irregular - that's about it. I don't know what the benchmark is all I know is that I am one proud mommy J He is growing so fast & his vocab developing exponentially. Words come out that I had no idea he knew – fire hydrant was a new one yesterday!
Maxine is growing so fast & I cannot believe a week from now she will be 8 months old!!! She is lifting her hips & trying to crawl already! She laughs a bunch & is always happy – we are very lucky.
...one more on Michael – such a character. Maxine does 'tummy time' routinely, so what do you think he does now? Yes, tummy time! Except his version is a little interesting – he lifts his shirt (to expose his belly), crashes on the floor & yells 'TUMMY TIME' – he thinks it's hilarious…& it is J
