What's in a name...means everything :-)

So many folks ask us how we came up with Maxine's name...so here it
is :-)
Maxine is the feminine for Maximilian & that is after Saint Maximilian
Kolbe..an amazing 'modern' day saint & plus we quite like the
inevitable abbreviation of Max for a girl too :) Also means 'the
greatest'...which of course she is!
We also have a new family tradition: to pick a Scottish middle name as
that is our common ancestry. So her middle name, Moira, is Scottish
for Mary (after Christ's mother & someone who has played a huge role
in my life)...& it means 'great'.
So her name means the 'greatest great France'...no ego issues
anticipated :-)
